When I stepped through the front door my ‘must haves’ list didn’t matter anymore. Sure, it had parking and laundry and a bathtub and charm, but it had the house hunting trump card that rendered all other features trivial… the familiar feeling. Do you know that one? It’s not déjà vu. At least for that we have a name. There isn’t one for this, so I’ll just call it the ‘familiar feeling’ and be so bold to offer a definition—just in case you don’t get what I mean.
